The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Cloud Migration Lead, Cloud Solution Architect to join the team in Hazelwood, MO; Chicago, IL; Fort Walton Beach, FL; Huntsville, AL; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Plano, TX; Ridley Park, PA or Seattle, WA. The Application Rationalization Team within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Lead to drive our application modernization efforts. This role will lead a team to assess, plan, and execute migrations of BDS applications to cloud platforms. This role will lead a cross-functional team that both directly migrates selected applications to the cloud and partners with product teams to help them migrate their own applications. You will be the technical and strategic lead, partnering with architects, engineering teams, product owners, and stakeholders to define migration strategies, prioritize application portfolios, and ensure successful adoption of cloud-native patterns. As the Cloud Migration Lead, you will shape the roadmap for modernization and champion best practices in cloud architecture. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact on the scalability, resiliency, and cost profile of critical BDS applications while helping the organization embrace modern engineering practices. We are looking for a leader with hands-on cloud migration experience (public cloud such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), a strong background in application assessment and refactoring strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor, replace), and the ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes.
