Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Azure) to lead the design, implementation, and support of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with deep Microsoft Azure expertise and a strong background in production cloud operations, infrastructure reliability, and disaster recovery. The Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in building and maintaining modern Azure environments, with a focus on networking, security, identity, backup, and recovery strategies. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud platforms are optimized, secure, and aligned with business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, implement, and support Azure-based infrastructure solutions for production environments
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure with a focus on performance, availability, scalability, and security
  • Support Azure networking, identity, and security configurations, including private and hybrid connectivity models
  • Maintain and enhance backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions across cloud infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud-related issues in production environments
  • Partner with application, security, and operations teams to support modern platforms hosted in Azure
  • Contribute to infrastructure standards, architecture decisions, and operational best practices
  • Implement and support secure cloud designs that align with organizational compliance and security requirements
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation and repeatable deployment processes where applicable
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud infrastructure strategy and operational excellence

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience operating production cloud environments
  • Solid understanding of Azure networking, security, and identity concepts
  • Experience supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code in Azure
  • Experience designing secure, private Azure networking architectures
  • Familiarity with Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, and Azure SQL backup models
  • Experience supporting modern application platforms in Azure
