Job Responsibility

In charge of the patient's overall experience from administrative enrollment to closing out treatment episodes
Lead groups in Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Establish treatment goals and outline patient responsibilities
Review treatment contracts and educate patients on program rules, expectations, and confidentiality regulations
Assess biopsychosocial problems and match services to the most pressing problems
Provide feedback about assessment findings and formulate an initial treatment plan and contract
Obtain appropriate consent for medical and psychological diagnoses and treatment
Demonstrate the ability to foster and engage therapeutic alliances
Perform psychoeducational activities through screening tools and educational handouts
Identify potential sources of social support
