Position Summary: The Translational Hearing Genomics Lab (Principal Investigator: Eliot Shearer MD, PhD) strives to improve the lives of children with hearing loss through genomics. Current lab focuses include improving genetic diagnosis for hearing loss and pushing novel precision and genomic therapies towards the clinic. Primarily, this role involves project management and coordination for interventional gene therapy clinical trials for pediatric hearing loss. Additionally, Dr. Aaron Remenschneider’s translational research laboratory studies middle ear mechanics and bone conduction physiology. This role entails clinical trial coordination and management for both principal investigators. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who enjoys working as a part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced research environment.
