Senior Clinical Python Programmer /Clinical Python Programmer We are currently seeking a Clinical Python Developer to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Clinical Python Developer at ICON Strategic Solutions, you will be instrumental in leading the development and implementation of advanced data science solutions for clinical trials. Your role will involve overseeing data programming activities, data pipeline maintenance, and generating visualized output analysis to support clinical research and decision-making.

Job Responsibility

  • Be responsible for delivery in a continuous improvement framework with respect to systems deployment, life cycle management and enhancements supported user groups
  • Contribute to initiatives to yield faster and more effective report development, efficient change management services for analytics platforms
  • Use your technical expertise with clinical data and report building, and experience gained through working with diverse and complex business processes and associated system infrastructures
  • Work in a matrix environment across functions and departments

Requirements

  • More than 4 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, working within Data Warehouse platforms in a regulated industry within a clinical trial environment
  • In depth knowledge of Python and its associated data manipulation packages
  • Pyspark experience preferred
  • Pandas experienced also considered
  • Advanced knowledge of SDTM data structures
  • Mapping experience and domain specific therapeutic area knowledge preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Tibco Spotfire development preferred
  • Equivalent visualization development tool (Power BI, Tableau or Qlik etc.) experience considered
  • Databricks experience preferred
  • Knowledge to gather requirements and writing user requirement documentation
  • Ability to work independently on assignments of moderate to high complexity without support

Nice to have

  • Pyspark experience preferred
  • Pandas experienced also considered
  • Mapping experience and domain specific therapeutic area knowledge preferred
