A Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a national, Legal 500 law firm based in Manchester. The role involves managing high-value Clinical Negligence claims, particularly catastrophic birth injuries and child brain injuries such as cerebral palsy. The position offers a flexible/remote working environment, excellent benefits, and opportunities for progression.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage Clinical Negligence claims of the highest value
  • lead cases involving catastrophic birth injuries and child brain injuries with assistance from a team of clinical negligence lawyers

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong experience managing clinical negligence matters on behalf of defendants (or complex claimant-side experience with a willingness to transition)
  • Excellent knowledge of the CPR and solid technical legal skills
  • Strong advocacy and case management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, meet financial targets and deliver results
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated and capable of working autonomously when required
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members is advantageous
