Job Description:

As a Senior Operations Specialist in Occupational Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring candidates move smoothly through Checkr’s drug occupational health testing process while monitoring performance, creating scalable systems, managing vendor relationships, and resolving operational issues.

Job Responsibility:

Monitor performance of occupational health tests across our vendor/clinic network, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve
create and document scalable systems, SOPs, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in occupational health operations
partner with the supply chain team to manage clinic/vendor relationships, support vendor SLA conversations and drive accountability
proactively contact candidates and clinics to resolve escalations, delays, or compliance issues
collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end process improvements
analyze and report on performance metrics
act as subject-matter expert on occupational health operations and provide guidance during audits or compliance reviews

Requirements:

3-5 years of operations or compliance experience in occupational health, clinical operations, or a related healthcare/health testing domain
strong operational rigor with proven success in developing and implementing scalable SOPs
experience partnering with external vendors or clinic networks, ideally within occupational health or clinical testing
strong problem-solving and investigative skills with the ability to resolve complex operational issues
excellent written and verbal communication skills
ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities
