Job Description:

The Senior Clinical Educator (RGN) will lead on the delivery of high-quality physical health and clinical skills training across a national portfolio of services. This role has a greater emphasis on hands-on, face-to-face clinical education, including medication administration, physical health competencies and clinical best practice, alongside virtual learning delivery. You will work closely with nursing teams, service leaders and governance colleagues to ensure clinical competence, safety and compliance across services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering physical health–focused clinical education and skills-based training
  • Leading face-to-face sessions such as medication administration, observations and clinical competencies
  • Supporting Registered Nurses to maintain and develop safe clinical practice
  • Designing and delivering blended learning programmes (online and in-person)
  • Supporting regulatory compliance and inspection readiness
  • Acting as a senior clinical role model and educator

Requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration
  • Strong background in physical health, long-term conditions or complex care environments
  • Experience delivering clinical skills training and competency-based education
  • Clear evidence of career progression and professional longevity
  • Confident delivering hands-on, face-to-face training to nursing teams
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally on a regular basis
