One of the best opportunities to come to the agricultural insurance market in Scotland. This is a business who's portfolio has been carefully built over years - in some cases, decades - of genuine relationships with some of Scotland's most significant agricultural businesses. Multi-million pound premium accounts. Complex risk profiles. Clients who expect to pick up the phone and speak to someone who actually understands what they do, why it matters, and what keeps them awake at night when the forecast looks wrong. The organisation behind this role is a major force in the UK broking market with deep, authentic roots in the agricultural sector. This isn't a vertical bolted on for commercial reasons - it's core to who they are. And as the farming landscape evolves - from weather volatility and regulatory change to succession planning and alternative land use - the advice their clients need is becoming more sophisticated, not less. That's why this role exists at the senior executive level.

Taking ownership of a prestigious book of agricultural clients across Scotland
Acting as the trusted senior advisor on complex risk, coverage strategy, and market placement
Sitting at the senior leadership table - contributing to strategy, market positioning, and the wider direction of the agricultural practice

Mentoring and influencing the wider team
Requirements:
Credible, established senior figure in the agricultural insurance market
Scotland-based and genuinely embedded in the sector
Technically sharp
Commercially astute
Cert CII or higher
Track record of hands-on experience with farm insurance
Ability to build trust with farmers and finance directors
