Carex is partnering with a technology solutions industry partner to find a Senior Client Delivery Project Manager to lead the successful execution of client-facing IT projects in a managed services and professional services environment. This role is ideal for a strategic, client-focused project leader who thrives on owning delivery outcomes end-to-end. The position emphasizes direct client engagement and delivery leadership for midmarket to enterprise clients, operating as a senior individual contributor within the delivery organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring delivery across scope, timeline, budget, and quality
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating decisions and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and key delivery milestones
  • Lead cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure project alignment and execution
  • Oversee governance processes, including risk management, status reporting, and change control
  • Proactively identify and address project risks, dependencies, and changes, escalating as needed while maintaining ownership
  • Guide clients through onboarding and transition phases into managed services
  • Ensure deliverables meet contractual, service, and internal quality standards

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience managing client-facing IT projects within MSP, consulting, or professional services environments
  • Proven ability to independently own and deliver complex projects for midmarket to enterprise clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Strong stakeholder management and client engagement capabilities
  • Experience in IT delivery environments, including infrastructure, cloud, and security
  • PMP or equivalent certification required
  • Experience working in IT solution provider, MSP, VAR, or IT channel settings strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Hybrid)
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Asana, or Trello
  • Ability to mentor project team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
