An established Specialty Casualty & Property Claims team is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Claims Handler to join a high-performing, collaborative environment. Job Responsibility:
Manage Property & Casualty claims from start to settlement, ensuring timely and effective resolution
Advise and regularly update clients on claim progress, key developments, and next steps
Liaise with insurers, brokers, solicitors, and other advisors throughout the claims process
Provide clear, technically sound advice to clients at every stage of the claim
Balance client expectations with empathy, professionalism, and commercial awareness
Maintain accurate claims records and ensure systems are fully up to date
Produce claims data and statistics in line with agreed service level agreements
Continually develop and maintain technical knowledge of insurance, legislation, and market practice
Requirements:
Proven experience handling Casualty claims within the London Market
Strong background in insurance with a specialist claims handling focus
Cert CII or Dip CII qualification desirable (or working towards)
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised, analytical, and client-focused
Able to identify potential risks and escalate appropriately, following internal processes
