Job Description:

Join a leading General Insurance provider in Hong Kong as a Claims Executive specializing in Motor and Liability. You will manage the end-to-end claims lifecycle, ensuring technical accuracy in quantum verification and settlement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure all new motor and liability claims are registered properly and promptly within the system
  • Set and monitor reserves adequately and timely, ensuring all actions comply with laid-down authority levels
  • Evaluate policy liabilities, verify quantum, and recommend settlements in line with underwriting policies and reinsurance practices
  • Handle motor and liability claims effectively according to company guidelines and policy terms
  • Maintain close monitoring of claim file developments and take necessary follow-up actions
  • Liaise with external claims adjusters and solicitors to facilitate smooth claim resolutions
  • Identify and maximize subrogation and salvage recovery opportunities while assisting in legal recovery proceedings
  • Provide high-quality, professional customer service throughout the claims process.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder, preferably with progress made in professional insurance examinations
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Personal Lines insurance claims, with a specific focus on motor claims being a mandatory requirement
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
  • A self-motivated and customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Executive position.
