Job Responsibility:

  • Analysis: Review plans and specifications to grasp every detail and subtlety
  • Estimation: Accurately calculate quantities and costs (direct/indirect)
  • Bidding: Prepare tenders and official documentation
  • Partnership: Expertly negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Monitoring: Work closely with the project team to ensure budget compliance
  • Optimization: Update databases and monitor market trends
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to Quebec and Canadian standards

Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of proven experience in civil project estimation
  • Academic background in engineering or estimation (Bachelor’s, DEC, or AEC)
  • Advanced mastery of TPL and Proest
  • A keen analytical mind and a collaborative approach

Nice to have:

Familiarity with the SEAO bidding system
