Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and manage civil documentation packages, ensuring quality, compliance with relevant standards, and timely delivery within budget
  • Liaise and coordinate with clients, stakeholders, the broader design team, and authorities to resolve design issues and integrate civil works with other disciplines
  • Apply a holistic understanding of civil design to meet key project objectives
  • Use your initiative and technical knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
  • Produce high-quality designs, documentation, specifications, and reports
  • Prepare tender responses, including defining scope and pricing for small to medium complexity civil projects
  • Grow your skills in staff and client management, risk mitigation, project and financial management

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • CPEng accreditation or actively working towards it
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering
  • Proven expertise in designing and coordinating: Stormwater systems, Roads and car parks, Pavements and retaining walls, Water and sewer mains
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with a track record of delivering on time, within budget, and to client expectations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
