Job Description:

As our new Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and review detailed civil design, drawings, models, and documentation using AutoCAD, 12d and/or Civil 3D, and other relevant design tools
  • Geometric design of urban infrastructure, including bulk earthworks, roads and public domain spaces
  • Stormwater drainage design including on-site detention (OSD) & Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD)
  • Ensure all designs comply with project briefs, relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability requirements
  • Coordinate with clients, internal disciplines, external consultants, contractors and other stakeholders for seamless multidisciplinary project integration and delivery
  • Prepare feasibility studies, multi-criteria option assessments, and technical reporting, proposals and tender documentation
  • Multidisciplinary coordination of other engineering disciplines such as utilities, pavement and structural design
  • Conduct site visits and inspections and provide direction to contractor partners as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of engineering design experience with a background and interest in public domain, roads, carparks, earthworks, drainage, water, sewer and other utility services designs, pavement design, and related civil infrastructure
  • Proven skills in design and documentation of civil infrastructure to ANZ standards or similar
  • Proficiency in industry design software, including 12d, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
  • Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering design standards and practices
  • Ability to coordinate and manage a multi-disciplinary project team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a multi-location team setting
