Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in Athens offices. Your role will encompass reviewing structural drawings & reports, preparing structural drawings in CAD and Revit, preparing structural analysis & reports, revising and updating existing drawings, reviewing project designs, managing client relationships, and site visits if required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review of structural drawings & reports prepared by Subcontractors
  • Preparation of structural drawings in CAD and Revit (concrete and steel structures)
  • Preparation of structural analysis & relevant reports
  • Revision and update of existing drawings reflecting design changes
  • Review of project designs to meet local building codes and contractual requirements
  • Manage relationships and communications with clients, vendors and contractors including design and construction project meetings
  • Site visits, if required

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Structural Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (preferably in the energy sector)
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (using standard drafting practices), Revit
  • Knowledge of Robot Structural Analysis and/or RFEM Software will be appreciated
  • Knowledge of TEKLA Software and BIM will be appreciated
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications, especially Microsoft suite programs
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision while efficiently managing time and resources

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Robot Structural Analysis and/or RFEM Software
  • Knowledge of TEKLA Software and BIM
