We are looking for a dedicated Senior Residential Childcare Worker to join a specialized team in Dumfries and Galloway. This isn't just a job-it's a permanent opportunity to provide stability and a brighter future for children with complex needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a committed team in providing 24-hour therapeutic care
  • Support young people navigating early trauma and emotional behavioral difficulties
  • Champion SHANARRI principles to ensure every child feels safe, healthy, and nurtured
  • Facilitate essential links between the home, school, and the wider community
  • Uphold the highest professional boundaries and National Care Standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Senior role within a residential setting
  • Experience supporting children with complex needs
  • SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is highly desirable
  • A full UK driving licence and PVG registration
