Requirements

NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
Previous experience within a children's residential care setting or in a similar environment
Experience leading shifts or supporting new staff

Job Responsibility

Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the home
Building positive and trusting relationships with young people
Providing emotional support and promoting positive behaviours
Supporting education, appointments, activities, and independence
Maintaining accurate records, reports, and care documentation
Supporting the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments
Working closely with social workers, schools, therapists, and other professionals
Facilitating family contact where appropriate
Supporting with household tasks, routines, and meal preparation
