Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Residential Care Worker to join our dedicated residential care team, supporting children and young people to thrive in a safe, nurturing environment. At the heart of our residential care provision is a commitment to delivering outstanding care for children and young people. Guided by our trauma-informed PACE model, we focus on building trusting relationships that enable children and young people to feel safe, valued, and understood within our residential care homes.

Job Responsibility

  • Delivering high-quality residential care to children and young people, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development
  • Working directly with children and young people, supporting their emotional, social, and physical needs while promoting positive outcomes within a structured residential care setting
  • Working closely with safeguarding partners and contribute to care planning, ensuring that all children and young people in our residential care services receive coordinated and effective support
  • Actively engaging in training and development to strengthen your practice within residential care, continually improving outcomes for children and young people

Requirements

  • Has experience working in residential care with children and young people
  • Holds a Level 4 Health & Social Care qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Is committed to delivering high-quality residential care for children and young people
  • Can build positive, professional relationships with children and young people and colleagues within a residential care setting
  • Is organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing responsibilities within residential care
  • Demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to support across residential care services
  • Is committed to ongoing professional development within residential care
