Job Responsibility

Accurately conduct routine and non-routine analyses of samples using the appropriate method or instrument and in accordance with the established schedule
Provide technical support to the senior technician for any duties and tasks that are assigned from time to time
Meet quality and TAT specifications required by the client and ensure samples are analyzed within holding time requirements
Accurately follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and instructions
Prepare chemical reagents and calibration standards for the use in the laboratory
Handling all chemicals in accordance to Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
Perform daily, weekly or monthly chemical inventory count and other cleanup duties as required
Operate and perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of all instruments such as Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS), auto-titrator, pH and conductivity meter, UV-vis Spectrometer, Pycnometer
Assist in setting up and conducting chemical experiments, tests and analyses
Compile records for analytical studies, maintain a high quality of results to clients
