Job Description

The Senior Change and Training Consultant will lead change management activities for IT transformation programs, ensuring stakeholder engagement and successful adoption of new technologies. The role requires proven experience in organizational change management, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to develop training strategies. A PROSCI certification is required, and an Advanced APMG Change Practitioner certification is preferred. The candidate will be responsible for developing training materials, conducting change impact assessments, and producing communication plans. This position offers an opportunity to drive continuous improvement and enhance training delivery within a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end change activities for complex transformation programmes, including change strategy, develop change & training plan, conduct change impact assessment, develop change action plan, and execution of change activities against plan/SOW
  • Build relationships, facilitate workshops, and secure alignment & buy-in from senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and end users
  • Develop training strategy/plan, curriculum, and training needs analysis
  • track learning activities against the plan, deliver virtual, in-person, and blended training
  • Produce change communications that support adoption and sustained change
  • Define and track KPIs, manage risks/issues, report progress, and drive continuous improvement through feedback and post-implementation reviews
  • Leverage change and training tools (e.g., Enable Now, WalkMe) and AI tooling to improve learning effectiveness, user adoption, and delivery efficiency
  • Act as a key member of the project team, working closely with client stakeholders to assist the successful delivery of change initiatives
  • Apply the OCM methodology to manage and deliver change activities in line with programme objectives to deliver high-quality Business Change deliverables on time, in line with programme plans and statements of work (SOW)
  • Lead stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure alignment and commitment across the organisation
  • Provide leadership and direction to change teams where required, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery
  • Provide technical support for Change and Training tools (e.g., Enable Now, WalkMe) when required
  • Share knowledge and best practices within the wider OCM team to enhance methodologies and approaches
  • Contribute to business development activities, by providing input and responding to RFP’s, and participating in pre-sales activities

  • Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis to understand the scope of change and identify areas of resistance
  • Assist the creation of communication plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the transformation process
  • Help manage resistance and address concerns by working closely with end-users and leadership teams
  • Design and develop training materials and documentation for the learning and adoption of new systems and processes
  • Deliver training sessions (virtual, in-person, or blended) for different audiences, ensuring that training is tailored to the needs of both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Create and maintain user guides, manuals, and online resources to reinforce training and provide ongoing support
  • Assist the development and management of a comprehensive learning management system (LMS), including course registration, content updates, and user feedback collection
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including project managers, technical teams, and business units, to ensure the alignment of change and training activities with project objectives
  • Participate in regular meetings and workshops to update stakeholders on change management progress and training outcomes
  • Provide ongoing feedback and recommendations to improve the change management and training processes
  • Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change management and training initiatives
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of training programs and change management activities, identifying areas for improvement
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess the success of change adoption and long-term sustainability
  • Continuously monitor and assess emerging trends in change management and learning methodologies to ensure that training materials and strategies are innovative and aligned with best practices
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the change and training processes based on client feedback and industry standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Organisational Change Management, ideally within large-scale transformation programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience in applying structured change methodologies and adapting them to different organisational contexts
  • Proven ability to assess change impacts, develop change strategies, and execute plans effectively
  • Working with AI tools for the OCM & Training workstreams
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience in developing and delivering change communications and training
  • Experience in leading or working within change networks to drive adoption and sustain change
  • Experience of leading Training as part of IT implementation programmes and experience of developing Training strategies, Training Curriculum and Training Needs Analysis
  • Experience of and strong knowledge of business processes to effectively analyse and advise on interdependencies, process and role impacts
  • Experience of explaining system processes in a business context
  • Ability to analyse complex situations, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions to challenges that arise during change initiatives
  • Familiar with using AI tools
  • Supporting customers with the adoption of AI tools
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, complex environments with multiple stakeholders
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop mitigation strategies
  • Experience in SAP-related change management projects is highly desirable

  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly to meet project demands
  • Excellent English language skills both written and verbal
