Job Description

Lead enterprise cyber security change across systems, people and processes. Drive organisation-wide cyber transformation with senior stakeholders. Join a high-performing team delivering critical ICT and cyber programs across CSIRO.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement organisational change management plans for enterprise-wide change initiatives including the development and implementation of effective engagement, communication and development activities
  • Navigate complex projects and changes involving multiple stakeholders across CSIRO, ensuring clear understanding of the people impact of changes brought about by IMT projects and enterprise programs
  • Work with the IMT Change Management Team Leader, IMT Executive, Business and Service Owners, and project managers to actively consult and engage with CSIRO leaders and staff to identify, plan and deliver change brought about by IMT projects
  • Work with key networks across the organisation to ensure that the voice of the business is present in the design and implementation of IMT-led enterprise changes
  • Provide support to project team(s) to ensure all change activities are completed within set timeframes, and progress monitoring is maintained through status reporting via appropriate governance mechanisms

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or similar experience in a science or technology environment
  • Extensive change management experience in an organisation of comparable size and complexity, ideally in digital transformation programs, and the capacity to deliver high quality outcomes and meet deadlines
  • Relevant Change Management training/accreditation (e.g. PROSCI) and a demonstrated understanding of the challenges and methodologies to ensure change management can be effectively delivered in an organisation
  • High level of analytical and influencing skills to appeal to the interests of different teams and research units to deliver the change management messaging (including communications and learning & development)
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills to effectively communicate and influence staff at all levels within CSIRO and externally, with the ability to produce quality presentations, reporting, change and process documentation for end users

Nice to have

  • Experience working with government agencies of comparable size to CSIRO or experience working with research organisations
  • Experience embedding cyber security culture change programs
