We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Change Management Consultant to lead organizational transformation and operational process improvements within the Canadian healthcare sector. This role is pivotal in aligning new operational processes with Company's personal health information privacy legislation (PHIPA) and ensuring the successful adoption of digital health standards. You will work in a high-complexity environment, collaborating with clinical, business, and technical subject matter experts to drive strategic objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and lead organizational change management (OCM) initiatives, including the creation of communication and training artifacts to ensure smooth transitions
Develop and implement new operational processes that align with regulatory requirements (PHIPA) and organizational strategic goals using Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
Partner with Project and Program Managers to manage project goals, risks, scope, and quality
drive project document deliverables and maintain status reporting logs
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and clinical partners to translate business needs into technical requirements
Proactively identify potential risk events and implementation barriers, developing mitigation strategies and escalating critical issues as required
Provide guidance on conformance testing practices and digital health standards, including HL7 FHIR, V2, and V3, as well as clinical terminologies
Requirements:
7+ years of demonstrated experience in leading organizational change management and project management within a complex environment
Deep knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system (acute, primary, and/or community care) and a solid understanding of company health assets
Expert working knowledge of the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), 2004
Familiarity with HL7 FHIR, Terminology Standards, and compliance testing practices
Proven mastery of Lean or Six Sigma concepts to drive efficiency and quality
5+ years of specific experience in project coordination, managing action items, and maintaining high-level progress reporting
Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a track record of meeting strict deadlines
