Job Description

As part of the Ground and In-Space, Cryogenic Fluid Management team you will be designing tank-internal instrumentation for ground testing a 1,000-5,000-gallon, flight weight liquid hydrogen tank.

Job Responsibility

  • Cryogenic Fuel Tank Testing (Ground and In-Space, Cryogenic Fluid Management)
  • Cryogenic Propellant Transfer Testing – Develop NASA vacuum chamber facility capability for low-cost, cryogenic fluid transfer and boil-off tests

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical or nuclear from ABET-accredited university preferred and 20+ years' interrelated experience
  • Interpersonal and communication skills and strong team commitment and customer relations
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Several certifications necessary to work at NASA, MSFC Building 4205, and the East Test Area
