Job Description

A well-regarded architectural and building consultancy based in Colchester is seeking a Senior CDM Principal Designer to join its health and safety team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior CDM Principal Designer who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and technically strong team.

Job Responsibility

  • Delivering Principal Designer services across commercial and residential projects
  • Liaising with clients, design teams, and contractors to advise on risk mitigation from concept through to construction

Requirements

  • At least 4 years’ experience in a CDM or Principal Designer role
  • Familiar with the CDM Regulations 2015 and relevant health and safety legislation
  • Design-based degree (Architecture, Engineering or Surveying preferred)
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or APS Membership desirable
