Job Description

A forward-thinking Construction Consultancy is looking for a driven Senior CDM Consultant to join its expanding Birmingham team. You'll take the lead on a wide variety of projects across the commercial, residential, and public sectors, working with well-known clients and ambitious design teams to deliver excellence in health, safety, and design risk management.

Job Responsibility

Take the lead on a wide variety of projects across commercial, residential, and public sectors
Work with well-known clients and ambitious design teams
Deliver excellence in health, safety, and design risk management
Act as a trusted advisor guiding clients through the design process
Identify risks early and find practical, proactive solutions
Become a real partner in the design and delivery of projects

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior CDM Consultant or Principal Designer within a consultancy environment
In-depth knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015 and design risk management
NEBOSH Construction or equivalent H&S qualification (TechIOSH / IMaPS desirable)
Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead client relationships
A proactive, solutions-driven approach and a genuine interest in design safety

Nice to have

TechIOSH / IMaPS qualification
