Job Description:

A well-established and highly respected multi-disciplinary construction consultancy are currently seeking an experienced Senior CDM Consultant to join their Bristol-based team, delivering projects across the South West and wider UK. This consultancy are continuing to expand their CDM and Principal Designer offering and, as a result, are looking to appoint a Senior CDM Consultant to support an ever-growing pipeline of work. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior CDM Consultant looking to accelerate their career within a business that offers long-term progression and stability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Acting as Principal Designer on a range of projects
  • Providing CDM advisory services from project inception through to completion
  • Managing and coordinating design risk management processes
  • Reviewing designs and identifying, eliminating or controlling foreseeable risks
  • Preparing and maintaining pre-construction information and health and safety files
  • Liaising with clients, designers, contractors and other duty holders to ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015
  • Attending design team and client meetings
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the CDM team

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
  • Experience acting as Principal Designer
  • Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and project teams
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Organised, proactive and commercially aware
  • Enjoys taking responsibility and ownership
