Job Description:

A well-established engineering consultancy, based in Central London and specialising in high-profile infrastructure and built environment projects, is seeking an experienced CDM Consultant to join their collaborative and long-standing team. This exciting opportunity involves leading on iconic projects across London and supporting the delivery of best-in-class health and safety services in design and construction phases.

Job Responsibility:

Act as Principal Designer under the CDM 2015 Regulations
Offer expert advice to clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure compliance and promote safe construction practices
Lead design risk reviews
Attend design meetings
Ensure the integration of robust health and safety measures from concept through to completion
Liaise closely with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years’ experience in a CDM Principal Designer or CDM Consultant role (essential)
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (essential)
Working towards or holding TechIOSH/GradIOSH membership (preferred)
APS membership (IMaPS / CMaPS) (preferred)
Background in architecture, engineering, or surveying (preferred)
