This exciting role gives you the opportunity to shape the sourcing strategies for Business Services in Europe, covering a range of outsourced and managed services. You will be the focal point for key stakeholders and strategic suppliers, taking ownership of the category, its contracts, and supplier relationships. Job Responsibility:
Translate the vision and objectives of senior management into strategic regional category plans
Define and execute the regional Category Sourcing & Contracting strategy
Identify and actively drive opportunities to optimize Value Creation across the European region and business units
Deliver cost savings through benchmarking, strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and Business Process Outsourcing
Collaborate with and challenge suppliers to drive innovations and reduction of the Total Cost of Ownership
Manage a portfolio of contracts, supplier performance, supply risks, and supplier relations
Requirements:
A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management
Ideally, 10+ years of working experience in a procurement or commercial role within a complex international business environment
Excellent verbal and written English skills are required to engage with regional and global stakeholders
Ability to operate effectively within a culturally diverse environment
Ability to deliver cost-effective solutions in an inflationary market while securing business continuity
