Senior Case Manager

• Managing your own Workers Compensation claims portfolio from lodgement to finalisation
• Building effective working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders including injured claimants and/or their lawyers, rehabilitation advisors, and medical professionals to drive successful rehabilitation and return to work outcomes
• Assessing claims for reasonable and necessary treatment and rehabilitation requirements
• Assessing and managing injury needs of claimants, handling correspondence regarding workers compensation benefits, treatment and rehabilitation, and interpret medical reports
• Reviewing treatment requests and organising investigations into claims with a focus on proactive claims management
• Making settlement offers and attending informal and settlement conferences to progress claims towards finalisation
• Attending conferences with counsel, expert witnesses, and lawyers

• Insurance Claims experience within Personal Injury / Workers Compensation a preference
• Experience in Para-legal personal injury an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation
• Skills to manage a target driven case load
• Having a genuine customer focused approach
• Negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
