We are a growing, leading home care provider looking for 2 Senior Care Professionals to support and develop our Care Professionals in practice, ensuring high standards of care are maintained through spot checks, competency checks and observation. The role works closely with the Registered Care Manager to provide in-field professional leadership, coaching and supervision, and to support the effective operation of the on-call system. This role will undertake c50% care calls which will reduce overtime as we grow.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure service is delivered in accordance with all relevant Radfield policies, procedures and practices
  • Ensure all Care Professionals consistently contribute to the efficient running of the Care Service and foster a professional, supportive environment that prioritises the best interests, dignity and wellbeing of Clients
  • Act with honesty, professionalism and respect in all dealings with clients’ personal information and financial matters, and role-model these standards to Care Professionals
  • Act as a professional ambassador for the organisation when carrying out duties in the community, representing the organisation with high standards of care, conduct and professionalism, and contributing to a positive reputation
  • Undertake client assessments and reviews as required when requested by the Registered Care Manager, ensuring care remains safe, responsive and aligned with company policies and procedures
  • Immediately report to the Registered Care Manager or on-call team any incidents, concerns or environmental hazards that may pose a risk to the safety or wellbeing of clients, their families or staff
  • Participate in the on-call rota in line with service requirements, providing senior on-call support to clients and Care Professionals
  • Carry out duties as assigned by the Registered Care Manager in line with the scope and responsibilities of the Senior Care Professional role
  • Where appropriate, undertake care duties in line with the Care Professional job description to support service delivery
