Job Responsibility:
Support and implement companywide initiatives and strategies to promote continuous quality improvement and company values
Having a daily oversight of the staff team performance, and provide coaching, mentoring and leadership to promote positive improvements
Be accountable for clear and safe record keeping including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluating the Personal Outcomes of individuals using the service
Planning and organising the unit routines and systems for you and your team, including documentation & evidencing care provision
Responsible for leading team communication including team meetings, effective reports and handovers, relations between all colleagues
Uphold the National Health & Social Care Standards and company values and mission statement when dealing with all stakeholders
Maintain a high level of care and support for residents, evaluating staff attitude and practices
Ensures any complaints are dealt with in a professional manner following the Meallmore guidelines
Actively lead, delegate, motivate and mentor your team, delivering guidance, cascading knowledge & training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the unit & achieve home objectives/goals
Proactively ensure the Meallmore quality assurance processes are completed in a timely manner and the results are acted upon
Lead and manage compliance of the staff team in documentation and practice to reduce risks through person centred care plans and the implementation of consistently good quality care and support
Requirements:
Currently hold SVQ Level 3 or above / equivalent in Health and Social Care
Experience of working in a Health or Social Care setting as an experienced Senior Care Worker
Knowledge of Care Inspectorate and National Health & Social Care Standards
Experience of leading a team is essential with the ability to coach, inspire and mentor others
Organised with the ability to balance administrative tasks and clinical care
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both internal colleagues and external customers, and multi-disciplinary teams
Motivated, compassionate and values driven
Organised, flexible in your approach and have great communication skills
