Job Responsibility:

  • Calls on existing and potential referral sources to maintain and sell new business
  • Maintains confidentiality of information as required by state/federal regulations and company policy
  • Maintains precise and accurate records of daily and weekly activities and referral profiles
  • Remains current on compliance, reimbursement and practice management
  • Facilitates and promotes business with hospitals, physicians, referral sources, and healthcare staff
  • Responds promptly and appropriately to any concerns
  • Conducts marketing activities according to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency
  • Performs community activities promoting AW Home Health and/or other lines of business upon request
  • Performs periodic market analysis, identifies and targets new and existing services, and updates management regarding activities, opportunities, and market changes/conditions
  • Helps develop, implement and evaluate marketing plan and tools for service lines, facilities and organizations as appropriate
  • Conducts market research to study possible new services or improvements for existing services and programs
  • Responsible for calling on and developing relationships with potential referral sources within the metro area and within rural areas including hospitals, physicians, case managers, insurance companies, adjusters, attorneys, professional associates, businesses non-profit organizations and others as may be appropriate
  • Prepares and monitors marketing report, goals and outcomes
  • communicates regularly and effectively with supervisor to ensure mutual goals are understood and met
