As a Senior Care Assistant, you will oversee and guide the care team, ensuring the high standards of care we are proud about enrich the daily lives of our residents. You will be responsible for setting the benchmark for amazing care, administering medication, observing changes in residents' conditions, and directing appropriate care practices. You will be an advocate for outstanding person-centred care, maintaining professionalism, and will liaise confidently with other healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure compliance with safeguarding vulnerable adults’ policies and procedures
Conduct risk assessments and create or update care plans in line with residents’ needs and preferences
Follow professional standards and adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations set by the Care Quality Commission
Requirements:
Proven leadership or mentoring experience in an elderly care or dementia care setting
Experience in providing outstanding person-centred care
Achieved or working towards NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
