Job Responsibility:
Planning and implementing care that gives residents security, dignity and independence
Getting to know residents and their families to deliver personalised care plans
Leading a team of Care Assistants
Maintaining the highest standards of care
Influencing the rest of the team
Assisting residents with daily activities (e.g., using a walking frame)
Helping residents at the end of their life
Talking to residents' families
Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager
Providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
Administering medication
Maintaining accurate records
Building strong relationships with the team
Requirements:
Completed Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care
Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent
Background in person centered care planning
Knowledge of caring for people with dementia
Brilliant positive energy
Natural ability to get along with people
Good record keeping
Ability to manage time effectively
Considerate and kind communication
Ability to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect
Willingness to attend safeguarding training
