Job Responsibility:
Supporting the Registered Nurse / Team Leader to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the comprehensive care needs of each resident
Delivering hands on personal care, leadership and support to provide the highest standards of person-centred care
Motivating and supervising the care team, providing coaching, mentoring and leadership support
Maintaining accurate records including completing assessments, writing care plans, resident reviews, and evaluations
Administering medication
Leading by example in setting high standards of care and support
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a senior care worker in a similar care setting is essential
Professional, compassionate, kind and motivated with a sense of fun
Ability to lead, motivate, inspire and develop a team
Organised, flexible in approach and have great communication and leadership skills
Confident in the use of IT applications
Registered as a supervisor with the Scottish Social Services Council, within the necessary time frame
Have or be on a journey to obtain the qualifications required for SSSC registration: Practice and supervisory qualification/s SVQ level 3 or higher, or its equivalent in Social Services & Healthcare
