Job Description:

Are you a passionate and experienced Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant looking to advance your career in a truly luxury care setting? Evermore Care is seeking dedicated Senior Care Assistants to join our new service, Astley View Care Home, in Chorley. This is an exciting opportunity to support our management team by guiding our amazing team of Care Assistants in the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care to our residents.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure compliance with safeguarding vulnerable adults’ policies and procedures
Conduct risk assessments and create or update care plans in line with residents’ needs and preferences
Follow professional standards and adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations set by the Care Quality Commission
Oversee and guide the care team
Administer medication
Observe changes in residents' conditions
Direct appropriate care practices
Be an advocate for outstanding person-centred care
Maintain professionalism
Liaise confidently with other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

Proven leadership or mentoring experience in an elderly care or dementia care setting
Experience in providing outstanding person-centred care
Achieved or working towards NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
