Senior Care Assistant

• Provide personal care, administer medical, social and health care
• Promote independence where appropriate and support end of life service users towards achieving a good death
• Help service users maintain dignity, by respecting individual choices and caring in a manner individually pertinent to them
• Be supportive towards colleagues and handle compliments and complaints in a professional manner and in accordance with company procedure
• Promote effective and confidential communication relating to service users whilst ensuring accurate and timely recording and documenting of relevant information
• Raise any concerns relating to practice or workload to line manager or registered manager
• Ensure effective communication with service users, relatives and visitors

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to liaise with a variety of people at various levels
• Current full UK driving licence
• Access to a car
• Ability to commute/relocate to Essex, East of England Region
• Care Experience (Essential)
• Compassionate (Essential)
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential

End of life care, palliative care experience

• Mileage is paid for at 25p per mile
• Full comprehensive training is provided
