Job Description

Are you a passionate and experienced Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant looking to advance your career in a truly luxury care setting? To ensure consistency in our care delivery, applicants must already have the Right to Work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from their agreed start date. Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time. Applications that do not meet this criteria will not be progressed further. Evermore Care is seeking dedicated Female Only, Senior Care Assistants to join our new service, Astley View Care Home, in Chorley. This is an exciting opportunity to support our management team by guiding our amazing team of Care Assistants in the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care to our residents.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and guide the care team
  • Set the benchmark for amazing care
  • Administer medication
  • Observe changes in residents' conditions
  • Direct appropriate care practices
  • Be an advocate for outstanding person-centred care
  • Maintain professionalism
  • Liaise confidently with other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding vulnerable adults’ policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and create or update care plans in line with residents’ needs and preferences
  • Follow professional standards and adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations set by the Care Quality Commission

Requirements

  • Proven leadership or mentoring experience in an elderly care or dementia care setting
  • Experience in providing outstanding person-centred care
  • Achieved or working towards NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
