Job Description:

This is a mission‑critical role ensuring continuity across procurement and supply chain operations in a complex manufacturing environment. Immediate impact in a critical manufacturing operation. Well-established, stable company with complex procurement needs. Contract role with strong potential for extension. Opportunity to work closely with senior operations and leadership teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Source and purchase raw materials and components essential to transformer production, including copper, steel, and insulation materials
  • Manage and strengthen vendor and supplier relationships
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to drive cost efficiency
  • Ensure on-time delivery to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations
  • Partner closely with operations, engineering, and finance teams
  • Proactively identify supply risks and implement practical, short-term solutions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or Procurement Professional in manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong background sourcing raw materials in industrial settings
  • Confident negotiator with a track record of cost control and supplier management
  • Comfortable working fully onsite in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
  • Able to step into a contract role and add value immediately
