As a Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in shaping and growing our premium Home & Living portfolio across international markets. In this role, you will drive strategic brand partnerships, optimise commercial performance, and ensure an attractive assortment for design-conscious customers. We are looking for a commercially driven and analytical professional with strong negotiation skills, a passion for premium brands, and a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape. This position is permanent and based in Munich.
Job Responsibility
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with international premium brand partners
Negotiate and secure competitive commercial terms, marketing agreements, and access to attractive product assortments to drive mutual growth and profitability
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic initiatives together with brand partners to continuously grow turnover and category performance
Analyse buying performance, sales trends, and key commercial KPIs to derive actionable insights and support strategic decision-making, utilising AI and automation where applicable
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Category Management, to ensure successful execution of commercial initiatives
Continuously monitor market developments, consumer trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and strengthen the assortment strategy
Actively identify, approach, and onboard new premium brand partners that complement and enhance the existing portfolio
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Retail Management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Buying, Category Management, or Key Account Management, ideally within e-commerce or the Home & Living industry
Strong understanding of e-commerce business models, market dynamics, and consumer trends
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret commercial data and translate insights into strategic actions
Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills, combined with a confident and results-driven mindset
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with both internal and external stakeholders
Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Fluency in English
