Job Description

A well-established Travel Management Company is looking for an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to join their specialist Healthcare team. This is a fully remote position working with clients whose travel programmes require a much higher level of accuracy, compliance and attention to detail than standard corporate travel. You’ll be joining a collaborative team of experienced consultants who work closely together to deliver a high level of service.

Job Responsibility

  • Handling a mix of interesting and often complex itineraries across air, hotel, rail and ground transport
  • Supporting Pharmaceutical and Healthcare clients with specialist travel requirements including HCP travel, guest travel and relocations
  • Ensuring bookings remain fully compliant with travel policies and client SLAs

Requirements

  • Experience as a Business Travel Consultant
  • Experience supporting Pharmaceutical/Healthcare accounts within a TMC environment
  • Confident using Native Sabre
  • Strong Sabre knowledge
  • Ability to confidently manage changes, exchanges and reissues

  • Work with travel co-ordinators to book travel for groups, using a combination of group, nett & published fares for worldwide tours
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with both clients and suppliers, providing a bespoke tailor-made, efficient end to end service
  • Make reservations using the GDS ensuring all information is accurate and all additional seating / baggage etc requirements have been made
  • Apply appropriate fares and issue tickets and documents with the specified time frame including re-issuing and refunding where appropriate
  • Dealing with customer questions and issues arising, ensuring a timely response and satisfactory outcome
  • Ensuring timely issuing of invoices and responses to accounts team for ticketing / ADMS & invoicing queries
