Job Description

Engineering Operations (EngOps) keeps the Microsoft Cloud reliable, secure, and ready. Operating as one integrated, continuously learning organization, EngOps runs a closed operational loop where incidents, risks, telemetry, and customer signals drive code, platform, and standards improvements, which are verified and scaled across Azure and the Microsoft Clouds. We design solutions that prevent issues before they happen, embed AI-powered automation, and turn signals into actions that deliver measurable customer impact. Our culture of empowerment, inclusion, and growth mindset defines how we work. We are seeking a Senior Business Program Manager - Learning and Development to deliver high‑impact learning and listening programs and analysis for the EngOps organization. This role operates in a fast‑paced, global environment and plays a critical role in building capability and curating employee and org health signals to keep EngOps at the forefront of operational excellence as our business and industry evolve. Reporting to the Chief of Staff for EngOps, you will partner closely with the EngOps chief of staff, Business Management & Operations (BMO) team and community, EngOps leadership team, and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive high‑impact Learning & Development and a robust listening system where leaders continuously listen, learn, and act on employee feedback. You will enable AI‑centered learning and technical skilling through clear, repeatable rhythms to help employees continuously build in‑demand capabilities, and lead ELS/Signals analysis to synthesize inputs into actionable guidance that scales across teams, regions, and communities. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals.
