The WBC data and analytics team operates across all these brands in one common data function with the aim of helping these brands to grow through smarter, faster, and better data driven decision making. Job Responsibility:
Develop user-friendly data BI models to facilitate self-serve reporting across multiple business functions, including Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Category Analytics
Partner with other members of the analytics team on creation of a data warehouse presentation layer
Work with business partners to teach them how to leverage semantic models, how to use our supported BI tools, and serve as a thought partner in their analytic work
Assist with BI application administration
Assist with data engineering work as appropriate
In partnership with other analytics team members, define and implement design standards, tools, and best practices to facilitate a robust and scalable analytics platform
Requirements:
Graduate or undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
5+ years working in an enterprise analytics environment
5+ years working as a Business Intelligence developer creating reports, dashboards, and self-serve data models using a data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau
Solid background in Power BI, including semantic model design, DAX, and M
Strong foundation in dimensional data modeling
Expert level SQL
Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development life cycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
Knowledge of best practices administering enterprise level BI reporting suites
Strong consultative, facilitation and consensus building skills
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
CPG, Retail, or related industry experience
A sense of humor, an eagerness to learn, and a desire to make a difference
Nice to have:
Experience working in the Supply Chain domain
Experience working with D365 or other large ERP system data integrations
Experience with Python and Spark
Experience working in an Azure environment
Experience with Databricks
