Job Description:

The Business Execution Consultant will be part of the Commercial Banking Financial Crimes – Financial Crimes Quality Assurance (FCQA) team. Assigned to sustainability testing on CB programs, they design and execute review activities for BAU programs and corrective actions to ensure processes and controls are effective while communicating output to business groups.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex transformation initiatives with unique challenges related to business execution that require consulting on business initiatives, understanding the businesses’ needs, and delivering long term and large-scale solutions
  • strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of business and serve as an experienced consultant to leadership group
  • support cross functional teams using business expertise and provide guidance to diverse partner groups within and across line of business
  • research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives using required analytical skills
  • create recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that include risk mitigation, efficiency, and client/customer experience
  • drive the implementation of innovative and significant business solutions
  • collaborate and consult with peers and leadership
  • participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing assurance reviews to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • determine areas of strength or opportunities within defined scope of work
  • review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • partner with the onshore team to present recommendations to develop, implement and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function
  • provide work direction to less experienced staff
  • plan and execute a variety of new initiatives, remediations or special projects
  • review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost saving opportunities
  • prepare the monthly business reviews, dashboards and to ensure the metrics are created and shared with the leadership team
  • participate in Business Continuity and resiliency plans and exercises
  • work independently and effectively interact with process owners and business partners
  • identify root cause(s) of issues, develop solutions that mitigate risk, and find opportunities to improve efficiencies

Requirements:

4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or economics
  • experience of more than 12+ years
  • knowledge in risk management
  • strong analytical skills
  • fluency in English (written and verbal)
  • Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification or equivalent
  • advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
