Job Description

Senior Business Development Representative - Technology Modernization Services. The BDR will be responsible for building, progressing, and closing qualified pipeline for OptiSol’s legacy modernization services. This role focuses on complex, consultative sales engagements involving enterprise-scale modernization programs. The BDR owns opportunity progression and revenue outcomes and works closely with SDRs, digital marketing, solution architects, and delivery leaders. This is an end-to-end sales role focused on converting prioritized opportunities into new client wins.

Job Responsibility

  • Own end-to-end sales execution and revenue outcomes for technology modernization services
  • Engage with senior stakeholders from enterprises such as CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Enterprise Architects
  • Lead discovery and qualification discussions to understand business drivers, technical landscape, and modernization priorities
  • Shape opportunities into assessments, phased modernization programs, or full-scale transformation engagements
  • Collaborate with SDR and digital marketing teams to define priority accounts and guide account-based outreach strategies
  • Work closely with solution architects and practice leaders during early deal shaping and proposal development
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, forecasting, and opportunity tracking in CRM

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in business development, consulting sales, or solution sales within IT services or technology consulting
  • Proven experience owning revenue targets and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology landscapes and modernization initiatives
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with structured sales motions involving SDRs and marketing teams

Nice to have

Prior experience working with clients in North America and/or Europe is preferred
