The Senior Business Development Professional is responsible for driving strategic customer engagements, developing key partnerships, and expanding CommScope’s Datacenter Business Unit into emerging applications of fiber optical connectivity inside advanced high performance compute system with system OEMs. This role leads opportunity assessment, technical solution development, revenue and profitability growth, risk management, and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of strategic accounts. The position requires building business plans, aligning internal stakeholders, identifying technical solution concepts, securing resources, and ensuring high quality delivery while cultivating strong customer relationships.
Job Responsibility
Strengthen relationships with Amphenol high speed group and other business units inside Amphenol communications division
Coordinate engagements with Amphenol and CommScope business teams
Engage with target OEM customers and system integrator to gather Voice of Customer information, technical requirements and validate proposed solution concepts
Guide CommScope R&D & PLM in development of new solutions — Lead requirements gathering, influence strategic engineering investigations, and drive product roadmaps, and projects to execute quick turnaround prototyping as well as large scale production ramps required to meet customer needs
Evaluate opportunities in the field of co‑packaged optics, novel fiber types and advanced connector technologies
