Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans (hunting) to achieve company growth objectives
  • Identify and prioritize target markets and customers within the apparel, e-commerce, and consumer retail sectors
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with mid-sized companies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with potential clients
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized logistics solutions that meet client needs
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Negotiate and close business deals to secure new contracts
  • Leverage existing network to generate leads and build partnerships
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and expand professional network
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and key business metrics
  • Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics industry
  • Proven track record of success in acquiring and managing mid-sized company accounts in the apparel, e-commerce, or consumer retail sectors
  • Extensive existing network of contacts within the target industries
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and market research capabilities
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed
