Job Description:

Senior Business Development Manager role at HSBC Life specializing in Insurance, helping deliver life insurance products and services to clients throughout the Asia-Pacific Region. The role focuses on people development, sales excellence, and providing coaching and training initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Designing and implementing onboarding program to activate new sales force
Providing post-onboarding support via daily and on-site coaching and development
Monitoring and supporting marginal performers, identifying specific areas for improvement, and offering personalised guidance
Integrating up-to-date market insights and product knowledge into training content
Act as a SME to provide expertise in product, sales skills, and market insights through coaching tailored to the needs of different channels
Champion a culture of sales excellence, driving quality sales activities and embedding customer centricity within the frontline team
Collaborate closely with the team, channel owners, and stakeholders to deliver training and coaching initiatives
Support achievement of the HSBC vision, values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making

Requirements:

Strong commercial thinking and business acumen
Passionate about people development
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
Strong problem-solving skills with strong communication, organizational and project management skills
Good command of spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English
Possess Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination Paper, including Paper 1, 3 and 5
Previous experiences in coaching / sales of wealth insurance
University degree in Business or related discipline
