This role is ideal for someone eager to drive net new business within the commercial sector, expand the sales pipeline, and close high-value deals. With clients ranging from Health to Education and Recruitment sectors, your mission will be to empower businesses through our data-driven advertising solutions and deliver impactful results.
Job Responsibility
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across strategic target sectors
Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to develop and execute lead generation strategies
Create and implement strategic outreach plans to expand our client base in the private sector
Deliver persuasive sales presentations that highlight the value of our media solutions and address client needs
Effectively articulate the benefits of our media solutions and close deals
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including C-level executives and key decision-makers
Provide ongoing support to clients to ensure long-term partnerships
Utilise CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline, track leads and opportunities, and maintain accurate records of client interactions
Negotiate contracts, with internal procurement, and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals that align with client goals
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling media solutions
Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on client needs and market insights
Maintain a results-oriented approach with a focus on lead nurturing, sales progression, and timely deal closures
Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Media sales (Agency background/ media owner preferred)
Professional with strong integrity, trustworthiness, and commitment to equality
Proven track record of generating and sustaining new business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce engaging and impactful content
Strong closing skills
Capable of managing time and sales territory effectively
Resilience and the ability to multitask
Ideally hold a Bachelors Degree or hold an English A-Level (or Scottish equivalent) with a high pass
B, A or A+
A degree is preferred but not required
Experience in media, digital marketing, recruitment or professional services
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools, including LinkedIn, and CRM systems
Proven writing ability with outstanding written English grammar, spelling and vocabulary
Strong technical skills, including formatting and knowledge and experience with Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets)
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
